Helping people find meaning and joy in life again

It can feel tough to deal with things when too much is happening in life. Some people might feel stuck in a rut, unable to move forward. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you feel like you don’t look forward to much, or you know you’d be happier if you made changes, but it feels safer and more comfortable to stay the same.

** Please note that we are currently only offering individual therapy for people who are 18 years and older**

Do any of these statements resonate with you?

  • You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life

  • You feel like you lack the motivation to do anything

  • You wake up every morning feeling depressed

  • You feel like you’re wandering through life, feeling like something is missing or your internal balance is “off”

  • You feel like there are so many things to manage and your never-ending “to-do list” leaves you feeling completely overwhelmed

If any of these sound true for you, we want you to know that you’re not alone, even though it may feel that way sometimes. Many of our clients have shared with us that it was difficult for them to start therapy. But getting help is a sign of strength, and therapy provides a non-judgmental space for you to talk freely about what’s bothering you.

It’s not selfish to prioritize caring for yourself. You don’t have to always prioritize work or your family’s needs over your own needs.

It’s possible to feel better. Imagine a life where you could…

  • Really feel joy

  • Shift into a more positive and hopeful outlook on life

  • Improve your relationship with yourself and those you choose to share yourself with

  • Stop letting your emotions take over your life or make decisions for you

  • Have improved attitude, mood, and productivity

  • Create a more meaningful life based on who you are and what you desire

How can therapy help?

Therapy helps you rise above your challenges and start moving towards your ideal life. You will get the practical tools you need to uncover strengths and learn new skills to help you deal with the challenges that arise in life.

Everyone’s therapy is a little different, depending on your needs and your therapist’s approach. You might learn about how your thoughts impact your emotions, or the most effective ways to change certain behaviors. Or you might finally understand why you get stuck repeating the same painful patterns. You’ll work with your therapist to identify your specific goals and the best treatment approach to help you accomplish them.

Research shows that therapy can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.

How Does Therapy Work?

Therapy usually consists of 55-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, your therapist will play an active role by asking questions and guiding you towards solutions. Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

  1. First, your therapist will provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with them.

  2. Through hearing your story, your therapist will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.

  3. Next, you will work with your therapist to discover what your goals are for therapy and in life, and what’s needed to help you reach them.

  4. Your therapist will start by helping you with immediate concerns, like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.

  5. Over the course of your sessions, you should start making progress towards the life you want. Your therapist will check in with you about your progress periodically and help to adjust goals as needed.
